Dots are placed at
draw time on a lattice with a physical pitch in millimetres, so
a figure gets the same screen at any output size. Provides
geom_halftone() for gridded fields, geom_spot() for per-point
tone discs, with_halftone() to screen the fill of any layer
(ribbons, areas, bars, polygons, sf), with_halo() and
with_relief() for lines over a screen, a screen aesthetic for
colour-free encodings, line screens, Bayer, blue-noise and
Floyd-Steinberg dithering, overprinting of overlapping groups,
with_press() for press artefacts, and a theme modifier with
export helpers.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/kinelhu/actions/runs/36630454734</link><pubDate>Tue, 29 Sep 2026 16:09:30 GMT</pubDate><r:package>gghalftone</r:package><r:version>0.1.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://kinelhu.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/kinelhu/gghalftone</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>fields.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>fields.html</r:filename><r:title>Fields: dot screens, stipple and engraving</r:title><r:created>2026-09-29 09:28:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-29 10:16:44</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>gghalftone.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>gghalftone.html</r:filename><r:title>Halftone fills for journal figures</r:title><r:created>2026-09-29 09:28:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-29 10:16:44</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>screens.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>screens.html</r:filename><r:title>One ink: screens, hatching and the screen aesthetic</r:title><r:created>2026-09-29 09:28:28</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-29 09:28:28</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
